Artwork Guidelines

Your artwork is the most important part of screen printing process. The GIGO principle (Garbage In/Garbage Out) is number one. If you provide small, low-resolution, fuzzy or blurry artwork that is what the final product will look like. We can work with a large variety of files, but we can produce the best results with vector art and hi-resolution graphics.

Preferred File/Art Formats

Artector Art:

This means Adobe Illustrator (ai) files or EPS files. In either case, please convert all text to outlines.

High Resolution Raster Art:

This means TIFF, JPEG & PSD. If your have raster art, make sure it’s 300 dpi and at the size you want it printed.

Preferred File Formats:

ai (Illustrator), psd (Photoshop), pdf (Acrobat), eps (Encapsulated Postscript), tif (Tagged Image Format).

Art Resolution:

300 ppi (minimum)

Art Size:

should be 100% (sized for shirt print) at 300 ppi

Software:

We use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Everything Else:

We can make due with various low-res images and clip art, but please understand that they will generally not look nearly as good on your finished product. We may need to re-create all or part of your file, which will involve art fees.
